In 2019, two baristas who'd worked in specialty coffee for a combined 14 years left their jobs on the same week. They found a narrow Victorian railway arch in London Fields, installed a 15kg drum roaster that takes up most of the back room, and opened with six tables and a menu that fit on one card.
We source directly from small farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala and Yemen. We know the farmers by name. We pay above Fairtrade rates because that's the floor, not the ceiling.
Sourced direct. Roasted on-site. Poured with
a bit more care than is strictly necessary.
